At Nottingham Forest Community Trust, we believe that every aspiring female footballer deserves a chance to shine. Our ETC is dedicated to building inclusivity and accessibility, providing a nurturing environment where female players can thrive and excel in their development. With top-notch coaching and unwavering support, we are committed to nurturing the future stars of women’s football, empowering them to reach new heights in their sporting journey.

Top-Quality Training and Comprehensive Development

Aligned with the FA’s wider framework, the Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre guarantees top-quality training for each age group. Starting from August 2023, players will enjoy 1.5 hours of technical coaching per week for 30 weeks, setting a strong foundation for their football aspirations.

We place a strong emphasis on age-appropriate Strength & Conditioning/Physical Literacy within the practical training hours. By prioritising holistic development, we ensure that our young athletes grow not just as players but as well-rounded individuals.

A Complete Football Experience

Nottingham Forest Community Trust is committed to providing a comprehensive football experience for our talented players including goalkeepers offering a well-rounded and enriching experience for all participants.
Players can look forward to consistent game opportunities, with at least one game every six weeks. We believe in providing our young talents with diverse playing experiences that enrich their growth and passion for the beautiful game.

Beyond Football: Nurturing Personal Growth

Our commitment extends beyond the pitch. As part of our comprehensive programme, we embrace Long-Term Player Development principles, facilitating additional stretch and challenge opportunities for high-performing players. Moreover, we offer psychological and social development support, empowering players to navigate the mental aspects of the game and develop life skills.

“We are absolutely delighted to launch the Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre at Nottingham Forest,” says Calum Osborne, CEO of Nottingham Forest Community Trust. “This initiative represents a significant step towards nurturing and empowering young female talents in football. Our commitment to providing quality coaching, a comprehensive football experience, and encouraging personal growth will pave the way for these aspiring players to achieve their dreams.”
