Nottingham Forest Community Trust were announced as winners of the Community Impact category at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards held on Friday 13 September.

The annual East Midlands Chamber Business Awards recognise the achievements of businesses in the local area over the last 12 months.

This is the second time in three years Nottingham Forest’s official charity has won this prestigious accolade. The award recognises the impact Nottingham Forest make in the City and County, not only on the scale of their community engagement but the positive change their programmes are making. Programmes that focus on Mental Wellbeing (‘It’s Tricky to Talk’), Inspiring Children (Dream Big) and Reducing Knife Crime (Violence Interrupters). The Football Club and Community Trust are investing around £1.4million each year into Community Engagement and they will be launching a new 3 year Community strategy later in the year.

The Football Club Chairman Nicholas Randall QC, Community Trust CEO Graham Moran and members of the Nottingham Forest Community Trust team were all present to receive the award on behalf of all of those who contributed to the winning of the award.

We would like to thank everyone in our local Community who contributes to the work we do and helps to make our programmes as successful as they are.
