Alongside Nottingham Forest Football Club we have recently launched a major schools-based initiative which uses the 40th anniversary of winning the European Cup to inspire a new generation in the city.
The project ‘Dream Big’ is an educational workshop designed to help the children of Nottingham to realise their potential and help encourage literacy learning across the curriculum which will be delivered to over 200 schools across Nottinghamshire.
Since the country’s current situation means that children cannot go to school and therefore cannot experience our ‘Dream Big’ tour, we have brought some motivational fun right to their homes instead. Our Dream Big activity booklet is packed full of creative educational activities and competitions aimed to engage and inspire children whilst they are in lockdown.
The booklet has received a great response from parents, schools and organisations across Nottinghamshire. One parent messaged us directly via social media saying, “A massive thank you to Nottingham Forest Community Trust for occupying my daughter at the minute. She is autistic so being able to see her happy face achieving something is amazing!”
