We’re EMC Business Awards 2021 Finalists!

We’re delighted to announce that we have been named as a finalist in the Community Impact category in the 2021 East Midlands Chamber Business Awards Nottinghamshire!

The annual event celebrates the breadth and depth of the business community within Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands and is open to entries from businesses across a range of sectors and industries.

This year’s ceremony and gala dinner will take place in November and will be a celebration of business and the resilience we have all shown over the last 18 months.

The Community Impact award we’ve been shortlisted for recognises businesses, charities and social enterprises that have Corporate Social Responsibility as a key part of their planning.

As a Trust, the last 18 months have proven challenging but we’ve done our best to help people to realise their potential and create pathways into training, education and employment – whilst enhancing physical and mental wellbeing while creating stronger, safer and happier communities. Our positive attitude and flexible approach to change has meant that our programme delivery has continued, unhindered and with minimal impact to participants during the pandemic.

No matter what, giving help to those in need when they need it and serving our community to the best of our ability is our purpose. It’s what we do and we’re determined to do even more in the future. Corporate Social Responsibility lies at the heart of what we do, who we are and how we deliver to the communities of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This award shortlist is a testament to Nottingham Forest Community Trust and we’re proud to have been recognised in this category.

It’s safe to say that we’re incredibly honoured and delighted to be named as a finalist for the Community Impact award and we’re looking forward to swapping our club kit for some more appropriate attire at the glamorous ceremony in November.
