Every week across Nottinghamshire we deliver our flagship Premier League Primary Stars programme in numerous different schools. The aim is to inspire boys and girls to learn, be active and develop important life skills both in and out of the classroom.

Yesterday, we visited Harvey Hadden Sports Village in Nottingham to support some of the participants who are part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme. The event was the Forge Trusts’ Sports Day which was attended by five of our Primary Stars schools; Python Hill, Sir Donald Bailey, The West Park Academy, Forest View and Parkgate Academy.

The day was full of some fantastic sporting games including pop lacrosse, handball, scatterball, atheletics and even some boccia. The day was a fantastic opportunity for Primary School children from different schools and areas to come together and have fun.

Everyone was fantastic and did amazing to take part, these were the winners of the day!

  • Boccia Winners – The Marton Academy
  • Scatterball Winners – The West Park Academy
  • Handball¬† – Forest View Academy
  • Athletics – Forest View Academy
  • Pop Lacrosse – Parkgate Academy
