What are the drop off/collection times for the Official Soccer Schools?

The Official Soccer School starts at 10am, however, we do have an early drop off at 8:30am where the children will take part in fun team games. Children will need collecting at 3pm but parents are welcome to attend the presentation at 2:45pm.

What clothes can be worn?

Ensure your child is comfortable and wearing weather appropriate clothing.

What kind of football boots should be worn at the Official Soccer Schools?

Moulded studs (plastic or rubber) or AstroTurf trainers.

What qualifications do I need?

Level 2: No entry requirements.
Level 3: 5 GCSE grades 9-4 (equivalent to A-C)

Do I have to take part in the training/games while in education?

You do not have to take part in the games programme if you do not wish to. If there is another aspect that you can experience that you would prefer to explore, then you could speak to a member of staff to see where we can help.

What exit routes are there after the course is completed?

If you are studying the BTEC Level 2 then the natural progression would be to progress to a Level 3 qualification. Those students studying towards a Level 3 qualification will be able to apply for the following:
- Foundation Degree Community Football Coaching and Development / BSc (Hons) Degree in Coaching Development and Administration.
- University Degree
- Potential employment within Nottingham Forest Community Trust
- USA Scholarships

School leavers aged 16/17 years.

How can I apply to be on an Education programme?

How long is the National Citizen Service programme?

The National Citizen Service programme, during the summer, is 4 weeks – it is really important that you complete the full 4 weeks. There may be some circumstances where a very short amount of time can be missed, but please discuss this with us prior to signing up to the programme. (For Autumn, the programme is 7 days straight, 4 of which are residential, followed by 30 hours completed in evenings and weekends).

Can I change my dates?

Yes, as long as we have spaces available on the date you would like to take part, we will facilitate this for you. We can only allocate people to the current season; to change to another season, please contact the Ingeus Contact Centre; 0121 386 6910.

Can I take part in the National Citizen Service with a friend?

Yes! As long as they are 16 or 17, haven’t done NCS before and sign up to the programme, you can be with your friend. Sign up early to make sure there is space for both of you on your selected date!

Do I have to play lots of football if I do the National Citizen Service programme with you?

No, we do have a sports session, but no more than any other National Citizen Service provider.

Is the Forest Sports Zone site limited to football?

No, the Forest Sports Zone also includes a multi-sports AstroTurf pitch fully equipped with both Football and Hockey facilities.

Yes there are regular fixtures throughout the year.

Are there any employment opportunities with the Premier League Kicks programme?

6 of our participants have now become permanent members of staff with Nottingham Forest Community Trust and many more have progressed into our educational programmes.

Who is able to attend Premier League Kicks?

Our Premier League Kicks sessions are open to anyone aged 12 -19 yrs old.

Are the Premier League Kicks sessions free? 

Yes, all of the Premier League Kicks sessions are free.
