The kit package is Forest branded kit for students to wear during their education and training session. This includes a rain jacket, tracksuit, 2 x t-shirts, 2 x shorts and 2 x socks. This package costs £200.
Level 2: No entry requirements.
Level 3: 5 GCSE grades 9-4 (equivalent to A-C)
You do not have to take part in the games programme if you do not wish to. If there is another aspect that you can experience that you would prefer to explore, then you could speak to a member of staff to see where we can help.
If you are studying the BTEC Level 2 then the natural progression would be to progress to a Level 3 qualification. Those students studying towards a Level 3 qualification will be able to apply for the following:
- Foundation Degree Community Football Coaching and Development / BSc (Hons) Degree in Coaching Development and Administration.
- University Degree
- Potential employment within Nottingham Forest Community Trust
- USA Scholarships
School leavers aged 16/17 years.

The National Citizen Service programme, during the summer, is 4 weeks – it is really important that you complete the full 4 weeks. There may be some circumstances where a very short amount of time can be missed, but please discuss this with us prior to signing up to the programme. (For Autumn, the programme is 7 days straight, 4 of which are residential, followed by 30 hours completed in evenings and weekends).
Yes, as long as we have spaces available on the date you would like to take part, we will facilitate this for you. We can only allocate people to the current season; to change to another season, please contact the Ingeus Contact Centre; 0121 386 6910.
Yes! As long as they are 16 or 17, haven’t done NCS before and sign up to the programme, you can be with your friend. Sign up early to make sure there is space for both of you on your selected date!
No, we do have a sports session, but no more than any other National Citizen Service provider.
No, the Forest Sports Zone also includes a multi-sports AstroTurf pitch fully equipped with both Football and Hockey facilities.
