Nottingham Forest Community Trust runs various different health and wellbeing programmes that aim to create accessible opportunities for everyone to participate in physical activity sessions. Through both schools and inclusive clubs across Nottinghamshire we aim to ensure that people with a disability develop their full potential in physical activity through the medium of sport.
In partnership with Aspire Learning Nottingham, we recently held a football tournament for local pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at The Forest Sports Zone. The tournament included teams from all over Nottingham representing their schools, giving them the opportunity to play against other schools in their community.
The day kicked off with some great football, and saw each team showing off their best skills throughout the whole of the tournament. The day eventually concluded with an exciting final between Bluecoat Wollaton Academy and Magnus Church of England Academy.
After a day full of some amazing football and lot’s of fun it was Bluecoat Wollaton Academy who took home the win!
