Nottingham Forest Community Trust and Nottingham Forest Football Club are committed to supporting our Armed Forces community. So far this year, we have already held numerous coffee and breakfast mornings here at The City Ground. We previously held a ground tour with NFFC legend John McGovern and our last breakfast morning was attended by other Nottingham Forest legends such as Garry Birtles and Frank Clark. Our programme is designed to offer unique opportunities for Veterans in our community to socialise and have fun.

On Sunday here at The City Ground, Nottingham Forest took on Bolton Wanderers for their last game of the season. We invited some of the Veterans who regularly attend our Forest Forces programme down as a reward for winning our breakfast morning quiz. The Veteran’s received an amazing hospitality package including a corporate box to watch the game in. We caught up with them on the day and they all said they were having a fantastic time!

As well as inviting veterans from our Forest Forces programme, we also donated some tickets for the game to The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre, giving 20 individuals from the Centre the opportunity to come to The City Ground and watch the match.
