Recently, we held our girls Regional Talent Club presentation evening here at The City Ground attended by numerous first team Forest Ladies players. The presentation highlighted the hard work of all the girls and it was a great way to celebrate the end of the season. The night consisted of various awards and it was also a fantastic opportunity for staff and players to all come together.

The Nottingham Forest Girls Regional Talent Club is an enhanced football programme that allows U10-U16 female football players identified as having elite potential the opportunity to access appropriate levels of coaching and support, through the ‘FA Girls’ England talent pathway. We will be holding our trials for the upcoming season soon and the first open selection day will take place on Sunday 2nd June, you can find more details by clicking here.

There were several awards on the night that highlighted the work of certain players who have put in their all this season. The winners are as follows;

  • Erin Bellaby – The Excellence Award
  • Freya Munn – Resilience Award
  • Sophia Bull – Respect Award
  • Devon Cousins wThe Technical Director award chosen by Alena Moulton.

The U12’s are currently in 2nd place in the league table, awaiting confirmation after their final game of the season.
