Currently, the Trust is seeking candidates for positions such as Head of Governance & Operations, Media Coordinator, Safeguarding Coordinator and an assistant for our Think Big programme. These roles offer diverse responsibilities and require a range of skills and expertise.

Head of Governance & Operations

The Head of Governance & Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of Nottingham Forest Community Trust. This senior position requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. The Head of Governance & Operations, who reports directly to the CEO, will assume overall responsibility for the Trust’s governance and compliance functions on a day-to-day basis. This pivotal role entails providing effective operational leadership and ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures within the Trust. As a senior leader within the Trust’s Senior Management Team (SMT), the Head of Governance & Operations will spearhead quality assurance and risk management initiatives while optimising the workforce’s contributions and operational efficiencies.

Media Coordinator

The Media Coordinator plays a vital role in promoting the work and achievements of Nottingham Forest Community Trust. This dynamic position involves utilising various media channels to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and showcase the trust’s positive impact. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic and cohesive approach to create and ensure the successful delivery of an integrated marketing and communications strategy that features player engagement from across Nottingham Forest FC, the Academy, and Women’s team. The Media Coordinator will utilise all available internal and external channels to support the Trust’s brand and media objectives, while providing marketing support for all programme leads/coordinators and Trust activities.

The Media Coordinator will also be responsible for player engagement at local club level, creating purposeful and rewarding community activities for the club’s younger players to provide them with life skills opportunities and inspire local communities as a result of their involvement with the Trust and capture that through media and content creation.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational and planning skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Safeguarding Coordinator

Reporting to the Head of Safeguarding & People, the Safeguarding Coordinator will be responsible for implementing effective safeguarding processes and procedures across the Trust. The Safeguarding Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all individuals attending Trust programmes, working closely with internal and external partner organisations. The Safeguarding Coordinator will be required to follow current practices to safeguard children and vulnerable adults from harm, abuse, or neglect who attend our community programmes and appropriate actions are taken when necessary.

Programme Assistant

Reporting to the Think Big Project Manager, the Think Big Assistant will be responsible for inspiring young people from diverse communities across Nottinghamshire to embrace technology and education. Using the power of football, the Think Big Assistant will excite and trigger interest in sports and tech, encouraging them to consider rewarding careers in technology-based jobs through a structured and innovative tech programme in schools. The Think Big programme is delivered in collaboration with Ideagen – one of the world’s fastest growing tech companies with headquarters in Nottingham.
