We have teamed up with Match Day Max to provide children with something fun and creative to do whilst being in lockdown.
Max who is just 15-years-old is the recent winner of the Young Content Creator 2019 at the Football Blogging Awards. He has been reporting on the reds for a number of years now and has established a large following of Nottingham Forest supporters, many of which are young aspiring YouTubers like he once was.
We spoke with Max and came up with the idea of challenging young Forest fans to become reporters themselves, stepping in front of the camera and talking about Nottingham Forest, whether thats recent events, the history of the club, players and so on.

We’re challenging children aged 6-13 to get creative and become a reporter like Max.

The aim of this collaborative work is not only to provide a fun challenge for children to take part in during lockdown but to also support their literacy and creative writing skills whilst not being able to go to school. The response we’ve got since posting the activity has been fantastic to see and hear, one parent said, “Thank you so much – you’ve made a little boy very happy! He really enjoys making videos – it’s been keeping him going since being at home!”
