Yesterday some pupils from Derrymount school, which caters for children with Special Educational Needs got the opportunity to take a tour of The City Ground and meet new Nottingham Forest player, Karim Ansarifard. First the students got the chance to meet the player and were able to ask him lot’s of questions as well as receive some signed gifts. Karim spoke to the children about his life as a footballer and some of his experiences, including his World Cup success where he elaborated on the importance of team work and determination both on and off the pitch. After the Q&A session, the children were then taken for a tour of The City Ground and got exclusive access to areas such as;
- The Press room
- The Trophy room
- Director’s box
- Pitch side
The kids loved this experience and went away talking about all the things they were shown around The City Ground.
It was a pleasure having Derrymount school visit and we hope we can do more with them in the future. We’re really happy they appreciated their trip and this was replicated by Karim who enjoyed talking to the children as much as they enjoyed listening.
