This week our community staff visited Hope House in Beeston, a one-stop community support centre that works in partnership with a variety of local agencies to provide a place of trust and transformation for local people.
Our community staff were on hand to help out at the Hope House to repair and decorate parts of the building which had become worn out over time. The charity were in the process of modernising the community space in order to welcome visitors accessing food parcels and other kinds of support. Although, they can’t provide this service at the moment Hope House are still able to provide food parcels for those in need through the door.
Nigel Slater from Hope House expressed his gratitude for the hard work of our community staff, saying, “they are giving us hope because this is what will be ready for us when we are able to welcome people back in again.”
