Every year Nottingham Forest Community Trust alongside Nottingham Forest Football Club provide Primary School children across the county with the opportunity to play in a tournament against other schools using the clubs facilities. This year we invited 13 schools down to the training site next to The City Ground where they would compete to win the trophy. We also had a ‘Top Bin Volley Challenge’ that all the kids would get to participate in, in-between the matches throughout the day.

The boys and girls were all fantastic! Showing great sportsmanship and behaviour from start to finish. The tournament itself was very competitive with all the teams showcasing some fantastic skills and teamwork. Eventually we were left with two finalists, The Forge trust vs St Peter’s Junior School. Both sides showed great spirit but with a couple of great goals from┬áSt Peter’s Junior School they managed to clinch the victory. A massive well done to them and to Coddington C of E Primary School who won the Top Bin Volley Challenge with a huge score of 12!
