Last Friday, we took our Forest Forces participants to Pride Park stadium to meet with the Derby County Veterans. The day was a great opportunity for both Nottingham Forest and Derby County fans to come together and bond over their Armed Forces experiences. The day started off with a breakfast morning at The Yard which is located within the Pride Park stadium, here the Veterans were able to mingle and catch-up over a coffee.

After breakfast it was time for the much anticipated ground tour. Led by staff from Derby County Community Trust our Veterans made their way out on to the pitch. The ground tour was full of Derby trivia to the dismay of some of our Nottingham Forest fans! Overall, it was a great way for both teams to mix and enjoy some friendly banter as they explored the stadium.

To finish the day, the Veterans headed back into The Yard for a game of bingo, it was one of our Veterans who ended up winning, and reluctantly took home a Derby County branded prize!
