Nottingham Forest walking football is back

We’re very excited to announce the return of our over 50’s walking football programme following government guidance and social distancing guidelines.

This slow-paced version of the beautiful game is a great way for local men and women to get active, make friends and improve their physical and mental wellbeing. There are opportunities to play competitively in organised tournaments or simply just socialise and have fun reconnecting with the game.

“I took up walking football at Nottingham forest over a year ago now and it’s been a life saver. Not just for my physical health but for your mental health too, the banter is great, it’s very relaxed and caters for all levels and abilities. It’s been fantastic and I’m so excited that it’s coming back and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. You’ll feel a lot better in yourself and make some great friends.” – Sam Mitchell, 61-year-old veteran

Whether you’ve played before or never played at all our weekly sessions are a great way to stay healthy and have some fun. Click here for more information and to book your place online.
