Seth who is a pupil on our Premier League Primary Stars programme from Bramcote C of E Primary School. Seth’s hard work and fantastic attitude towards school was recently highlighted by our Head Coach Megan Haynes. Megan who teaches Seth as part of our programme said he has particularly improved in P.E. She said ‘Seth has worked really well in P.E. recently and his confidence has really improved. He has been way more engaged, especially when it comes to teamwork. Seth has also been a lot more vocal in lessons, asking and answering more questions.’
Our programme is designed to not only enhance children’s learning experience but develop their personal skills, this is evident in Seth’s case as Megan explained ‘He has now joined school football for the first time, as his confidence has really grown.’ We spoke to one of Seth’s teachers Mrs Bodily who said ‘Seth has become more assertive in P.E. now than before and he has a lot more confidence across all of his subjects.’
Oliver who is a year 2 pupil from Coddington Church of England Primary School in Newark has also made a lot of progress within our Premier League Primary Stars programme. Emma Dennis one of our Head Coaches that teaches Oliver, said she is really impressed with the hard work he has been putting in, and she is the one who has highlighted how amazing he has been. Emma explained ‘Oliver has been receiving reading intervention as part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme, and due to his hard work and commitment he has now been able to move up a reading band’. We caught up with him at his school and he said ‘I am really excited about moving up’. Well done Oliver this is a fantastic achievement!
