This week at Nottingham Forest Community Trust we welcomed Owen Barker, a 14 year old pupil on work experience. Owen was based within the marketing department helping out both the Marketing Executive and Assistant with their duties.

On his first day, Owen got straight into work attending an event we were holding for local primary schools. He headed to Newark along with the marketing team to our Premier League Primary Stars football festival, this was a new event we were holding and it was great for Owen to experience. He got the chance to help take some images of the event and the kids during the tournament as well as help gather information for a future piece for the website.

Owen then got the chance to write up a fantastic story for our website on the event which you can find by clicking here. Owen wrote up this piece all by himself with the knowledge he had collected the previous day, he also picked out images he had taken and edited them for use on our website and across our social medias. He then published this story on our Twitter and Facebook platforms along with the images he took! Owen also helped out with other tasks such as, writing other social media posts, analysing social media content, producing and writing promotional emails, photoshop editing, analysing video content and script writing.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Owen for coming and helping us out and a massive well done for all of his hard work!
