Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills. Available to every primary school in England and Wales, it inspires girls and boys aged 5-11 in the classroom, the playground and on the sports field.
Along with delivering our programme with in school times, we also deliver after school clubs at all of the primary schools which are part of our programme.* Our head coach Megan Haynes, is in Langar Primary and Nursery School on Fridays, here she delivers a fantastic after school weekly, which focuses around gymnastics! The children look forward to the after school club with Megan every week.
India, is a bright year 2 pupil from Langar primary who has been attending our after school club for many weeks now. When she first started our head coach Megan noted her fantastic gymnastics ability. After a few sessions India was scouted for a local gymnastics club which she know attends and thoroughly enjoys.
Langar Primary school is an already sporty school so they are very proud and supportive of India’s development. The school said they are really grateful for the programme and the amazing opportunity it has provided for India.
Coach Megan Haynes said “India has really shone through in the after school club with not only her skills but her determination and patience when learning something new. Her skill has continued to develop since she started attending the gymnastics club as well as her confidence and enthusiasm to the sport. India is a pleasure to teachers in both her P.E lessons and after school.”
Well done India!
