The Robin Hood Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile course across Nottingham that encourages runners to raise money for their chosen charity. This year we had 21 runners representing us in the marathon, raising money to buy a defibrillator for The Forest Sports Zone. Our runners included members of staff from NFCT, including our CEO Graham Moran, Education Tutor Daniel Gordon, Coach Mark Moss, RTC Coach Kevin Lock and NCS Project Manager Corbi Brown.
Alongside the members of staff running for us there were also 17 volunteers from the Nottingham Forest Community Trust who marshalled the event, they were placed across the route to help the race run smoothly and to cheer on those taking part.
Due to the hard work of our runners and the donations they received, we have raised enough money for the defibrillator for The Forest Sports Zone. Thank you to all of the people who participated in the marathon representing Nottingham Forest Community Trust we really appreciate all of your support, your hard work could help save a life!
