Nottingham Forest Community Trust are extremely excited to hear the recent announcement that Alena Moulton has been promoted from Forest Ladies first-team assistant manager to manager for the remainder of the 2018-19 season. Alena is the Technical Director for our Regional Talent Club and has been key in the development of our female players aged 10-16 years, Alena is also one of the success stories of the FA’s inaugural Black, Asian and Minority Ethic [BAME] mentee programme.
The Nottingham Forest Regional Talent Club (RTC) is an enhanced football programme for U10-U16 female players. The programme provides girls with coaching support through the ‘FA Girls’ England talent pathway. Alena has been part of the first-team programme for the last 18 months and we are so excited for Alena’s future at the club, and her continued involvement with our Regional Talent Club.
Speaking about her new role Alena commented “For the remainder of the season I will look to continue the great work left by Graham, and we will do our very best to pick up as many points as possible. I look forward to working with the team and continuing the fantastic journey!”
Nottingham Forest Ladies’ next game against Sunderland, is on Sunday 10th March. Kick off is at 2pm at Eastwood Community Football Club (Chewton Street, Eastwood).
