Nottingham Forest Community Trust and Nottingham Forest Football Club are committed to supporting our Armed Forces community. We currently have a Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme – Silver Award, recognising the outstanding transferable skills that ex-service personnel can bring to organisations like ourselves. However, we want to do more for Veterans in our community so the Trust is working on developing a programme that can benefit and provide support to our Veterans.
With that being said, we will be hosting a morning for local Veterans this January.
The morning will begin with a stadium tour of the world famous City Ground led by Nottingham Forest legend and European Cup winner, John McGovern, followed by a Breakfast Morning held in the 1865 Suite with free bacon rolls, teas and coffees. This is open to Veterans over the age of 50 and each of the mornings activities is optional (feel free to come to just one if the other does not interest you).
The details for the morning are as follows:
- Date | Friday 25th January
- 9:30 – 10: 30 | Stadium Tour with John McGovern
- 10:30 – 11:30 | Breakfast Morning
- Location | 1865 Suite, The City Ground
