Tesco, who is a leading retailer, with over 400,000 colleagues, serving millions of customers every week, generously donated over 200 food parcels to help us support vulnerable people in Nottingham. Their stores and staff in Bulwell and Toton put together packs containing a range of various food items out of their stock and helped Nottingham Forest Community Trust load them into our vans.
After we received the parcels from Tesco we worked with Nottingham CityCare, an award-winning community health services provider, dedicated to improving the long-term health and well-being of local people, to find and deliver the parcels to those that it would benefit the most. With their help we were able to provide hundreds of vulnerable people with essential food items needed after their time spent in hospital.
