Forest welcome over 100 children for Christmas Party
Nottingham Forest were delighted to welcome over 100 deserving children from across Nottingham for an afternoon of festive fun, food, games, and a disco at The City Ground as part of the Club’s ongoing ‘Home For Christmas’ campaign throughout the month of December, spearheaded by owner, Evangelos Marinakis.
The children were joined by Santa Claus, Nuno Espirito Santo, Harry Toffolo, Ola Aina, Eric da silva Moreira, as well as Nottingham Forest Netball Head Coach, Chelsea Pitman, and players Freya Henshall, Jayda Pechova, and Tash Pavelin.

In attendance were children invited from various organisations and clubs including Warriors United, When You Wish Upon A Star, Nottingham Children’s Hospital Charity and three primary schools who are Nottingham Forest Community Trust’s Premier League Primary Stars partner schools: Crabtree Farm Primary School, Carrington Primary School, and Victoria Primary School.
The party began with a disco and dance-off before Santa shocked the party goers with his arrival. Each child had the opportunity to visit Santa in his grotto to receive a Christmas present. After a party food buffet, the children were joined by players and management from both the Club’s Football and Netball teams. The party concluded with an outdoor snow machine and a conga around the pitch led by Santa Claus himself.
Nottingham Forest hopes that everyone in attendance had a brilliant afternoon and has a very Merry Christmas!
