Planning Approved for Redevelopment of the Forest Sports Zone
Nottingham Forest Community Trust is delighted to confirm that planning approval has been granted for the redevelopment of the Forest Sports Zone — located in Forest Fields on the original home of Nottingham Forest Football Club.
First opened in 2015, the site has become a vital community asset, welcoming approximately 2,500 people each week to take part in sport, physical activity, and community programmes.
This exciting new chapter will see the space transformed into an enhanced, inclusive hub that sustains and strengthens its long-term use for generations to come.
The Trust is proud to build on the site’s rich heritage, ensuring it continues to promote health, wellbeing, and community cohesion at the heart of Nottingham.
