NEW: Summer holiday clubs in Cotgrave
This summer, Nottingham Forest Community Trust will be delivering its popular HAF Holiday Club at Cotgrave Leisure Centre, offering young people aged 11–16 a chance to stay active, social, and supported during the school break.
Part of the Government’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, the sessions are locally funded and managed by Nottinghamshire County Council. The initiative is aimed at supporting children and teenagers on free school meals, ensuring they have access to enriching activities and a nutritious meal during the holidays.
Forest’s HAF Holiday Club provides a welcoming environment packed with fun, sport, creativity and social connection. Each session includes access to a range of activities—from football and multi-sport coaching to table tennis, pool, Xbox, and even hands-on experiences with coding robots. Young people can also unwind and make new friends in the youth group social space, with qualified staff on hand to guide, encourage and inspire.
The programme has a strong legacy in the region. Since launching its first HAF pilot in 2021, Nottingham Forest Community Trust has engaged thousands of young people across Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City, building a trusted reputation for quality, inclusion, and impact.
