Celebrating Black Coaches at Nottingham Forest Community Trust for Black History Month

At Nottingham Forest Community Trust, we believe that diversity and inclusion are at the heart of what makes our community strong. As we celebrate Black History Month, we are proud to announce the launch of a special series of stories that will shine a spotlight on the remarkable black coaches who have made significant contributions to our organisation.

Black History Month provides us with an opportunity not only to reflect on the past but also to celebrate the present and look to the future. It’s a time when we can acknowledge the achievements, contributions, and experiences of black individuals within our community. These coaches play a vital role in shaping the future of sports and community engagement, and we want to recognise their dedication, talent, and passion.

Throughout this series, we will share the stories, experiences, and achievements of our valued members of staff. From their early inspirations to their current roles, we will delve into the journeys that have led them to the Nottingham Forest Community Trust. These stories are not just about their accomplishments on the pitch but also about the impact they’ve had on the lives of countless individuals within our community.

By showcasing the stories of our black coaches, we aim to inspire the next generation of coaches and players. We want to demonstrate that opportunities in sports and community engagement are open to everyone, regardless of their background.
