Community Trust Shortlisted for Community Impact Award
Nottingham Forest Community Trust is proud to announce its nomination for the Community Impact Award at the 2024 Business Desk East Midlands Annual Awards.
This award recognises a business or individual in the region that has demonstrated a commitment to ‘giving something back’ to the community through CSR initiatives or charitable activities, reflecting significant social responsibility.
As the charitable arm of Nottingham Forest Football Club, the Trust delivers community engagement programmes focused on health, and wellbeing, education and community engagement. With partnerships across the public, private, and third sectors, the Trust’s initiatives reach thousands of individuals, providing support where it’s needed most.
Key achievements include the development of local sports facilities, significant reductions in youth crime, and increased job opportunities for young people. The Trust continues to invest in community-driven projects, ensuring long-term, sustainable impact for local residents.
This nomination reflects the Trust’s dedication to improving lives and developing a stronger, more inclusive Nottingham community.
