Discover the Power of Premier League Programmes at Nottingham Forest Community Trust’s Free Teacher Events

Nottingham Forest Community Trust is excited to invite teachers and school staff to the City Ground for two special showcase events this July, offering a behind-the-scenes look at our Premier League Primary Stars and Premier League Inspires programmes.

These free sessions are designed to help schools understand how our Premier League programmes can support both pupil development and wider school outcomes, through engaging classroom delivery, physical activity, enrichment opportunities and more.

Attendees will also have opportunities to ask questions about the programmes and meet Nottingham Forest Community Trust’s schools team.

A Proven Track Record

We’ve been delivering Premier League Primary Stars since the programme launched nationally in 2017, working with dozens of primary schools across Nottinghamshire to inspire learning and wellbeing through the power of football. Meanwhile, Premier League Inspires was introduced in 2022 to support secondary-aged students, helping young people navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop aspirations for the future.

More Than Just Sport

Both programmes use the appeal of Nottingham Forest and the Premier League to deliver curriculum-linked content, mentor pupils, and enrich school life in a variety of ways:

✅ Curriculum support: Maths, English, PSHE and PE, tailored to classroom needs

✅ Enrichment opportunities: Football festivals, stadium visits, social action projects

✅ Tournaments and competitions: Opportunities to represent Nottingham Forest in regional and national events

✅ Teacher CPD and whole-school impact: Supporting staff confidence and long-term outcomes

✅ Mentoring and personal development: Especially through Premier League Inspires, helping pupils build resilience, leadership and self-belief

Why Attend?

These insight events will give teachers and school leaders a first-hand look at how the programmes work, the impact they’ve had locally, and the flexible ways we can support your pupils and staff.

Whether you’re considering joining for the first time or want to hear what’s new, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and network with our education team and fellow educators.

Schools attending can register their interest to join the programme for either the 2025/26 or 2026/27 academic year.
