KICK OFF
A perfect start for the away side and another occasion in which Forest find themselves 1-0 down in a game. A freekick on the left side of the pitch and is swung into the back post beyond the outstretched arm of the Forest keeper. The delivery finally lands on a free header, finding an empty net coming from the Wolves no.4 sparking a lead for the away side.

HALF TIME
A perfect response from the Reds in the second half as they find the equaliser they would’ve been hoping for during the interval. This comes from some direct running by our no.14. As a shot is blocked by the Wolves defender the effort finds it way to the Forest no.11 who scuffs his shot but surprisingly finds the bottom right corner beating the diving goalkeeper.
Nottingham Forest 1 – 1 Wolves
Forest looking to take the lead and this time come from a brilliant freekick from the Reds’ no.4 who produces a powerful strike. This came from the same side as the Wolves freekick although the strike was cleaner and more accurately placed. Although the keeper gets a hand to the ball it is not enough to keep it out.
Nottingham Forest 2 – 1 Wolves
An equaliser for the away side comes after all the hard work of the Reds to go up in the first place. A blocked shot from acres out, ends up in the feet of the Wolves no.10. As he controls the ball, he rejects the defenders from the position. Using some great footwork to give himself a yard or 2 to fire off an accurate shot striking the base of the right post on the way to the back of the net.
Nottingham Forest 2 – 2 Wolves
Forest has the lead once again! This time, poor defending is pounced on by the previous goal scorer, the no.11 takes the ball down with his left foot which enables him to cut on to his right foot. He only has the keeper to beat, and beat he does with a low powerful shot to the keepers left is unstoppable.
Nottingham Forest 3 – 2 Wolves
For the first time today a 2 goal lead is earned, surely that seals the game. A long-lofted ball is played by the no.4 and is yet again poorly defended by the Wolves back line. It is pounced upon by the Forest no.9 who calmly disposes the ball past the goalkeeper for his first goal of the game and Forest’s 4th!
Nottingham Forest 4 – 2 Wolves
FULL TIME
NOTTINGHAM FOREST 4 – 2 WOLVES
A poor first half from the Reds is recovered for a deserved win to start the month with some big games coming up for Forest, as they will look to soldier on for the rest of the season.
