Nottingham Forest is delighted to confirm that its hugely successful Home For Christmas campaign will return for a second year.

Launched by the Club’s owner Evangelos Marinakis, the campaign saw the City Ground open its doors and bring the Forest Family together to benefit thousands of people during the festive period.

Following its incredible success, Forest is bringing an even bigger Home For Christmas campaign back to the city this December, adding more events and initiatives to unite the Club’s players, staff and fans with those most in need across Nottinghamshire.

Using the power of football to bring communities together, this year’s campaign will include:

FOOD AND MULTIBANK DONATION CENTRE (14-23 DECEMBER)

The region’s biggest food and multibank drive will once again be held at the City Ground, in partnership with independent foodbank Himmah.

THE COAT COLLECTIVE (14-23, 27, 30 DECEMBER)

Forest will be encouraging supporters to help others stay warm this Christmas by donating warm winter clothing to our dedication donation point.

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL VISIT

Forest players will once again visit the Children’s Hospital at Queen’s Medical Centre, handing out presents and bringing some festive cheer to young supporters.

THE HOT MEAL MISSION (17 DECEMBER)

Forest players will join forces with the dedicated team at Himmah, serving hot meals to those in need from their city centre hub.

WARRIORS UNITED CHRISTMAS PARTY (18 DECEMBER)

Forest will welcome back the team from Warriors United, a Nottinghamshire-based learning disability football team. They’ll take part in a special festive press conference with a first team player and Santa and enjoy a special Christmas party.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY (18 DECEMBER)

Taking place at the City Ground, this heartwarming event is for underprivileged youngsters who have taken part and excelled in our Community Trust initiatives.

THE FOREST FAMILY SOCIAL (23 DECEMBER)

Once again the City Ground will play host to a welcoming festive gathering aimed at combating social isolation this Christmas. A chance to join Club Legends and fellow supporters for conversations about Forest, past and present, over a warming drink.

‘MAGIC MOMENTS’ CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCES (27 & 30 DECEMBER)

Extending the Magic Moments campaign, Forest will be inviting deserving families to our home fixtures against Manchester City [27 December] and Everton [30 December], giving them full behind-the-scenes access to a City Ground matchday.

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis said: “Football brings communities together and we want everybody within our city to feel supported by the Forest family. Last year’s campaign achieved incredible things, with huge generosity shown by our supporters and our players spending important time with the people most in need within our community.

“We are delighted to bring the Home For Christmas campaign back for a second year – it will be bigger and better than ever, ensuring that our Club helps as many people as possible to have an enjoyable festive period, during what might otherwise be a difficult time.”
