Healthy Horizon Hubs: A New Chapter in Community Wellbeing
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our refreshed Healthy Horizon Hubs, starting this January!
Designed to support physical and mental wellbeing, build resilience, and foster community connections, these hubs are your local space to recharge, connect, and grow.

What’s on Offer?
Physical & Wellbeing Activities
From group exercises to mindfulness sessions, our activities are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Resilience Building
Learn practical strategies to strengthen your resilience. Our experts provide tools and tips on how to cope with everyday stressors and challenges.
Lifestyle & Community Support
At the heart of Healthy Horizons is our commitment to developing a strong support network with community partners, offering assistance with a range of lifestyle needs.
Cookery Demonstrations (Monthly)
Get tips and advice on preparing healthy meals at home with live demonstrations and practical cooking advice.
Mental Health Hub (Open Door Sessions)
Mental Health Hubs are relaxed, informal spaces where you can talk to others who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental health. They provide the opportunity to open up in a supportive environment to share and discuss thoughts and feelings.

Healthy Horizon Hubs are built around the idea of community first. Whether you’re seeking physical fitness, mental resilience, or simply a space to connect with others, these hubs are designed to support you. All sessions are free to attend, and no booking is required – just drop in!
* We’re working in partnership with My Journey CIC, to provide free transport for residents to attend our Healthy Horizon Hub at Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre. Localised collection points are on a 3-week rotation, please see timetable below for times and collection points.
January Transport Timetable (St Ann’s only)
Week 1 (14 Jan, 9:45 am) – Gedney Advice Centre, Gedney Avenue, Nottingham NG3 3DB
Week 2 (21 Jan, 9:45 am) – Cherry Lodge, King Edward Park, Nottingham NG3 2AS
Week 3 (28 Jan, 9:45 am) – The Chase Neighbourhood Centre, Nottingham NG3 4EZ
Transport places are limited, pre booking required. Please email community@nottinghamforest.co.uk stating your name and which week(s) you require a space. The bus will only collect and drop back off to the venues above.
