Introducing Abler, our brand new booking system

Nottingham Forest Community Trust is upgrading its booking experience with the launch of Abler, a new platform designed to make signing up and paying for sessions easier, faster and more convenient for participants and families across Nottinghamshire.

Abler will replace the Trust’s current booking system, BookWhen, as part of ongoing improvements to customer experience. The new platform will streamline the way participants book Soccer Schools, Walking Football, community sessions and programme events.

Key Dates

We’ve outlined several important milestones to help our communities to prepare for the switch:

→ BookWhen will remain live until 19 December 2025, and customers should continue to book all sessions up to this date as normal.

→ Abler goes live on 3 December 2025. From this date, all sessions and events taking place from 5 January 2026 must be booked through Abler.

→ From 3 December, customers can create an Abler account, explore the platform and begin booking sessions scheduled for after the new year.

What You Need to Do

To support a smooth transition, the Trust is encouraging all participants to:

Create your new Abler account here.

→ Download the Abler app for quicker sign-up, easier management of bookings and a more streamlined experience on mobile – just search Abler in your iOS/Android App Store

→ Start booking in your events which recommence from 5th January.

→ For events between now and 19th December 2025, please continue to use BookWhen.

Abler allows users to create individual player or participant profiles, store essential information and check out more efficiently. This will help reduce time spent completing repeat forms and ensure a smoother booking journey for families.

Support and Further Information

The Trust understands that customers may have questions as they get used to the new system.

Please view our FAQS here or, check out a few handy guides here.

Additional support is available by contacting community@nottinghamforest.co.uk

The move to Abler marks an important step in improving the accessibility and efficiency of the Trust’s programme bookings. By introducing a modern and user-friendly platform, Nottingham Forest Community Trust aims to create a more seamless experience for every participant.
