Using the combined power of football, sport and a number of constructive activities, Nottingham Forest Community Trust delivers Premier League Kicks to inspire a diverse range of young people across Nottinghamshire including hard-to-reach youngsters in some of the most high-need areas to achieve their potential and improve their wellbeing; working together to build stronger, safer and more inclusive communities.
Premier League Kicks is a free programme, funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund, and uses the reach and appeal of the Premier League and network of professional football clubs to regularly engage children and young people of all backgrounds and abilities in football.
The sessions we run give boys and girls aged between 8-16 years the opportunity to play football and take part in other multi-sport activities. Since kicking-off back in 2006, the scheme has enabled thousands of youngsters to find routes into education, training and employment with volunteering being a key component.
Young people will have the chance to get out of the house and have some fun in a bit of friendly competition against other local teenagers in their area.
Alongside weekly sessions, Nottingham Forest regularly organises events and tournaments giving participants the opportunity to play football tournaments against other young people and clubs on a local and national basis.
