This slow-paced version of the beautiful game is a great way for over 50s to get active, make friends and improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Walking football provides opportunities to play competitively in organised tournaments or simply socialise and have fun while reconnecting with the game they love.

The Nottingham Forest Walking Football programme opens up a range of physical health benefits for participants. It’s also a great opportunity to make new friends and meet new people while keeping active and improving physical wellbeing.

The sessions are held on Mondays at Carlton le Willows Academy, Tuesdays at Southglade Leisure Centre, Wednesdays at The Forest Sports Zone and Haydn Road Community Cricket Club and Fridays at The Forest Sports Zone. With 5 sessions per week, there’s plenty of availability to book a space across the city.

With a specialist coach, we welcome any player of any ability, whether its your first time putting on the boots, or are looking to get back onto the pitch, our team will be on hand to give you support and encouragement.
