Strategic Update: Reaffirming our commitment

Nottingham Forest Community Trust is proud to release an update to its Strategic Plan, reaffirming our commitment to improving lives across Nottinghamshire.

This renewed approach outlines our priorities and the ways we will continue to create meaningful change through sport, physical activity, education, and wellbeing initiatives.

Nottingham Forest Community Trust Strategic Update

Our first Strategic Plan was launched in 2023, covering a three-year period. Now, two years in, it is vital that we reaffirm our focus, our commitment, and showcase what that looks like and who it involves.

By reflecting on our progress and adapting to the evolving needs of our communities, we can ensure that our programmes continue to make a lasting impact where they are needed most.

At the heart of our mission is a vision to be Nottinghamshire’s leading charity for improving community health and wellbeing, supporting those who need us most.

Guided by our values—Accessible, Committed, and Progressive—we strive to deliver transformative programmes that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and create lasting impact.

The updated plan emphasises key focus areas:

✅ Health and Wellbeing – Breaking down barriers to physical and mental health support through inclusive programmes.

✅ Education and Training – Providing skills, knowledge, and career development opportunities to uplift individuals and communities.

✅ Community Engagement – Creating connections, fostering inclusion, and uniting people through impactful initiatives.

By working alongside local organisations, schools, businesses, and funders, we will continue to champion accessible opportunities for personal growth, social inclusion, and community resilience.

With this strategic update, Nottingham Forest Community Trust remains dedicated to building a healthier, more connected, and thriving Nottinghamshire for all.
