Tackling Male Suicide: Free Training Opportunity at The City Ground

Nottingham Forest Community Trust is proud to partner with Tough To Talk to deliver a vital and life-saving training session aimed at tackling the rising crisis of male suicide.

Male suicide remains one of the biggest silent killers in the UK. This powerful 5-hour session, Tackling Male Suicide Training, is completely free to attend and is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to spot the signs, start conversations, and help save lives.

Delivered by leading mental health organisation Tough To Talk, this training is tailored for those who are best positioned to make an immediate and meaningful impact.

Date: Saturday, 24th May 2025
Time: 10:00AM – 3:00PM
Location: The City Ground, Nottingham, NG2 5FJ

Who is this training for?

This course is specifically designed for individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

  • ✅ Working in male-dominated sectors such as construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, etc.
  • ✅ Representing a charity or organisation that supports at-risk men
  • ✅ Based in the Nottingham or Nottinghamshire area

If this sounds like you, we encourage you to sign up. Together, we can break down stigma, build safer environments, and change the narrative around male mental health.

Please note: Spaces are limited. We kindly ask only those who meet the above criteria to register, ensuring the training reaches those who can make the greatest difference.

This initiative forms part of our Healthy Communities programme and is generously funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund and The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA).

Let’s tackle this crisis together — because your actions could save a life.
