Think Big 2023/24 Review

We are thrilled to announce the release of the Think Big 2023/24 Programme Review, highlighting a transformative year of growth, innovation, and impact across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. In collaboration with Ideagen and Nottingham Forest Community Trust, Think Big has continued to inspire and empower thousands of students to explore exciting career paths in the technology sector.

This year saw record engagement, with 19,118 students from 54 schools participating in dynamic assemblies and hands-on workshops. From coding robots to exploring tech in sports, students were given the opportunity to think outside the box and get creative with technology. The programme’s unique blend of tech and sport offered immersive experiences like virtual reality tours and digital challenges, sparking curiosity and inspiring future tech innovators.

The partnership between Think Big and Ideagen also strengthened, leading to the appointment of 10 apprentices and further opportunities for students to gain real-world experience. As part of the programme’s growth, workshops were refined and tailored to meet student needs, with an expanded curriculum and deeper community engagement.

As we look back on this landmark year, we are excited to build on our successes and expand opportunities for the 2024/25 academic year. Stay tuned for further announcements on new apprenticeships, curriculum developments, and more ways to get involved.
