U19 TEAMS FRIENDLY
A COLD AFTERNOON AT THE FOREST SPORT ZONE PLAYED HOST TO AN INTER-SQUAD FRIENDLY BETWEEN THE NOTTINGHAM FOREST COMMUNITY TRUST AND THE ARCHWAY TRUST U19 TEAMS.

FIRST HALF
A freekick from the edge of the box caused by a handball, whipped and then tipped over the bar by Forest’s keeper.
The best move of the game so far sees a great switch out to No.14 of Forest as he takes a nice touch and a then a high shot over the bar.
Forest earns another set piece, delivering a superb cross to two unmarked players at the back post. However, the one who received it couldn’t summon enough conviction to challenge the goalkeeper.
Another great chance for Forest as No.7 finds himself free and with loads of space in the Archway box but drags his shot wide.
After a period of dominance for Forest a long ball from the halfway line reaches the Forest striker as he calmly puts it away past the keeper making it 1-0 to Forest.

After pressure from the Forest forward line a mistake from the goalkeeper and defender leads to a tap in, scored by No.10.

A long curling effort from No.14 finds its way in off the far-right post nestling into the net making it a great half all round for Forest.

Forest made a powerful start to the second half, taking advantage of another mistake from Archway and quickly scoring to make it 4-0.

Archway’s best chance so far comes from a long ball over the top finding a volley struck well by No.14 but unfortunately hitting the crossbar.
A messy clearance from Archway leading to No.17 scoring for Forest asserting their dominance in the game with another goal.

Great build up play down the right-hand side leads to a tap in for Forest’s No.9 making it 6-0.

Forest finds their No.14 in the box as he drops his defender’s shoulder and calmly curls it into the bottom right corner making it 7-0 for Forest.

A powerful free kick from outside the box around 25 yards out struck by No.10 and beats the keeper down his side leads to 8-0 for Forest.

A controversial penalty is given away by Forest’s No.5 as he dives a bit recklessly but doesn’t appear to make too much contact, leading to shouts of diving from the side-line and Forest players.
Archway’s No.11 opts to strike in the left side of the goal, but the Forest’s No.1 follows and makes a great save keeping the clean sheet intact.
