2024 Annual Review: A Year of Impact and Growth
Nottingham Forest Community Trust is proud to unveil its 2024 Annual Review – a powerful snapshot of a year defined by growth, innovation, and life-changing impact across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
With over 53,000 people engaged through nearly 10,000 hours of delivery, the Trust continues to champion health, education, and inclusion through sport and community development.
CEO Calum Osborne described the year as one of “progress, impact, and ambition”, underpinned by a strengthened commitment to listening to communities and demonstrating the tangible value of the Trust’s work.

Key Highlights from 2024:
A Home for Everyone
From mental health support groups to inclusive football sessions, the Trust created safe, welcoming spaces for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect and grow.
Building Pathways to Opportunity
Through education, mentoring, and employability programmes, young people and adults developed skills, confidence, and aspirations for the future.
Sport with Purpose
From grassroots football to targeted wellbeing sessions, physical activity was used as a tool to boost health, build friendships, and strengthen community ties.
Community at the Core
Fan engagement flourished through the Community Corner at the City Ground, while initiatives like the Home for Christmas campaign brought fans and neighbours together in support of local families.
Raising the Bar
The Forest Sports Zone recorded over 100,000 user, with redevelopment plans now underway to future-proof this vital community facility.
Chair of Trustees Judith Lyons praised the team’s efforts: “This year we’ve made real strides in delivering our strategic vision – reaching more people, responding to need, and building lasting change.”
The review also celebrates the impact of inspiring individuals, including Adam Mansouri, named Nottingham Forest’s Premier League Community Captain, and Harry Toffolo, recognised as PFA Community Champion for his mental health advocacy.
As the Trust continues its ambitious plans and deliver into 2025, its purpose remains clear: to help every person in Nottinghamshire thrive – regardless of background.
The Annual Report also shares real-life stories from individuals who have taken part in the Trust’s initiatives, offering a powerful perspective on the lasting, positive difference the Trust makes across the region.
Judith Lyons, Chair of Trustees said, “It is a privilege to chair the Board of Trustees for Nottingham Forest Community Trust as I reflect on a year of tremendous strides forward in delivering the strategic plan we first laid out in 2023.
“This year alone we have engaged with over 53,000 people through our programmes and activities, and committed to our mission to reach those who need us most – whenever they need it, and wherever they may be.”
