Forest For Everyone: You are my Forest
Ahead of Nottingham Forest’s 2024/25 Premier League season opener against Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest Community Trust and Nottingham Forest Football Club orchestrated a special event at the City Ground, inviting a diverse range of fan groups to join in a spirited rendition of the iconic Forest chant, “You Are My Forest”, in collaboration with a local men’s choir, Everyone Can Sing.
This celebration, supported by the Premier League Fans Fund, marked a collective tribute to Forest For Everyone, a club-wide initiative designed to build inclusivity and ensure fans from all walks of life feel welcomed and valued as part of the Nottingham Forest community.
The Premier League Fans Fund offers grants to help football clubs at all levels strengthen their connections with fans and local communities.
Fan groups represented on the evening included Proud Forest, Punjabi Forest, the Nottingham Forest Disability Supporters Association, and the Garibaldi Girls, showcasing the rich diversity and unwavering dedication of the club’s supporters.
Through the ongoing support of the Premier League Fans Fund, Nottingham Forest Community Trust will continue to engage with fan groups and underrepresented communities throughout the season. Content pieces and further collaborations will be released to shine a spotlight on the unity and pride that underpin the Forest family, ensuring that all voices are heard and celebrated.
