Local Chartered Accountants raise funds for Community Trust

Nottingham Forest Community Trust is delighted to have been selected as a charity partner by Wright Vigar, with the firm’s annual charity golf day raising more than £1,000 in support of the trust’s work across Nottinghamshire.

Wright Vigar is an independent chartered accountancy and business advisory firm with offices across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, providing accounting, tax and specialist support services to businesses and individuals throughout the region.

Held at Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club, the event brought together clients, contacts and local businesses for a day of golf, networking and fundraising, with all proceeds supporting the trust’s programmes.

The funds raised will help Nottingham Forest Community Trust continue delivering initiatives that support people of all ages through health, education, employability and community programmes across the county.

Tom Maxwell, Marketing Manager at Wright Vigar, said: “We’ve seen the event build real momentum over the last few years. It’s a great opportunity to bring people together and support a charity that’s doing important work locally.”

Calum Osborne, Chief Executive Officer at Nottingham Forest Community Trust, said: “We are incredibly grateful to have been selected as a charity partner by Wright Vigar and would like to thank everyone involved in making the golf day such a success.

“Partnerships with local businesses play an important role in helping us extend our reach and create a lasting impact across Nottinghamshire.

“As well as raising valuable funds, collaborations like this provide opportunities for organisations to support their social value and corporate responsibility objectives while making a meaningful difference in their local communities.

“We look forward to working closely with the team at Wright Vigar and exploring how we can continue to create positive outcomes together.”
