Hollie Olding named Nottingham Forest’s PFA Community Champion for 2024/25
Hollie Olding has been named one of Nottingham Forest’s PFA Community Champions for the 2024/25 season, in recognition of her incredible dedication to supporting local communities and promoting mental health awareness.
The PFA Community Champion Award honours professional footballers who make a meaningful difference off the pitch, recognising those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to community engagement and outreach initiatives.

This announcement follows the news that men’s striker Taiwo Awoniyi has also been recognised as the men’s team Community Champion.
Since joining Nottingham Forest Women in the summer, Hollie has quickly become a standout figure both on and off the pitch. Appointed as one of the club’s Mental Health Ambassadors, alongside men’s player Harry Toffolo, she has embraced her role with passion and purpose, using her platform to drive important conversations around mental wellbeing.
Throughout the season, Hollie has been actively involved in several Nottingham Forest Community Trust mental health programmes, including the club’s Tricky to Talk initiative. Her authentic approach and openness have made a significant impact, helping to break down stigma and encourage open dialogue.

In addition to her mental health advocacy, Hollie has played a vital role in delivering school sessions across the region, connecting with young people and inspiring the next generation to speak up and support one another.
Her contributions reflect the core values of Nottingham Forest and embody the spirit of the Community Champion Award.
Following the conclusion of Nottingham Forest Women’s remarkable double-winning campaign, Hollie was presented with her Community Champion award in recognition of her inspiring work and ongoing efforts in the community.
Hollie is one of two Nottingham Forest players to be honoured this season, with men’s first team player Taiwo Awoniyi also receiving the accolade for his outstanding contribution to community support.
Everyone at Nottingham Forest Community Trust congratulates both Hollie and Harry on receiving these well-deserved accolades.
