Nottingham Forest Community Trust Launch Resilient Reds
Nottingham Forest Community Trust is proud to announce the launch of Resilient Reds, an expansive new health and wellbeing programme designed to help city residents live well, feel great, and stay active.
Delivered in partnership with Thriving Nottingham, this free initiative combines the deep local reach of the Trust with clinical and lifestyle expertise to offer a holistic approach to community health. Supported by funding from Thriving Nottingham and the Premier League Foundation, the programme is specifically designed to tackle inequality, respond to local challenges, and support people and their communities to become more inclusive.
Whether it’s helping families establish better habits or supporting adults in improving their physical and mental wellbeing, the collaboration ensures that professional health resources are accessible to everyone, right in the heart of their own communities.
What is Resilient Reds?
Resilient Reds hubs are relaxed, local spaces designed to help you recharge, connect, and grow. The programme offers a safe environment to develop physical and mental wellbeing, strong community connections, and personal resilience.
Every aspect of the initiative is designed to ensure participants leave feeling refreshed, re-energised, and fully supported.

Colin Eley, Health and Wellbeing Manager at Nottingham Forest Community Trust, said:
“With Resilient Reds, we really wanted to create a space that feels completely different to a traditional health service. Life brings plenty of challenges, and these local hubs are all about giving people a relaxed, pressure-free environment to look after both their body and mind.
It’s fantastic to see our Men’s Health sessions already underway in Bulwell, and as we expand into new venues over the coming weeks, our doors are wide open. Whether you want to get a bit more active, learn some great tools for managing stress, or just grab a cuppa and chat with people who understand, you’ll find a warm welcome here.”
What’s on Offer?
The programme features a variety of tailored support services and activities, including:
- 12-Week Physical & Wellbeing Activity Programme: From group exercises to mindfulness sessions, our activities are designed to be simple, sustainable, and suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
- Resilience Building: Learn practical strategies and tools from our experts on how to successfully cope with everyday stressors and challenges.
- Lifestyle & Community Support: At the heart of our mission is a commitment to developing a strong network with community partners, offering assistance with a wide range of lifestyle needs.
- Mental Health Hub (Open Door Sessions): Welcoming spaces where you can talk to others who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental health. These sessions provide an opportunity to open up in an informal, supportive environment to share and discuss thoughts and feelings.
