Brand-New On & Off the Pitch Programme for Teens

Nottingham Forest Community Trust is delighted to announce the launch of On & Off the Pitch, an exciting new initiative designed specifically for young people aged 11 to 18.

Operating as the dedicated youth arm of our wider Resilient Reds programme, On & Off the Pitch builds on our commitment to supporting mental health across the community. While Resilient Reds focuses on providing vital wellbeing and mental fitness support across different age groups, this new branch, specifically for teens blends high-quality youth football skills with tailored mental health resources, social spaces, and creative activities – completely free of charge.

The programme aims to give teenagers a safe, active, and supportive environment to develop their game, connect with peers, and access mental fitness and wellbeing guidance from trusted mentors.

About ‘On & Off the Pitch’

Each weekly session is split into two halves, offering the perfect balance of physical activity and relaxation:

On the Pitch: Action-packed football-based activities including professional coaching, skill-building, training drills, and gameplay.

Off the Pitch: A relaxed, welcoming “hangout” and clubhouse space where young people can chill out, enjoy free snacks and drinks, socialise, take part in creative workshops, and access dedicated wellbeing support.
